Flying High!
Last week we constructed our own planes. Using only card and cello tape to hold them together. We tested the distance they could fly whilst also carrying extra weight in the form of coins.

As part of Science week we built boats and tested their density. We the tested their capacity and found out how many coins they can hold while staying afloat.
Spooky Skulls!
Today we learnt all about skulls! The two bones in your skull are your cranium and jaw. We also created our own masks with a moving jaw!
Cyber Bullying!
This week Third class learnt all about cyber bullying and how to prevent it ! We learnt the Stop-Block-Tell approach to combat cyber bullying.
Introduction to Chess!
Today we began learning the various chess pieces! We started with the pawn and rook. Third class played some games using only these pieces within their pods !
